God Sent His Servant to Rescue Me”: Beneficiaries Share Emotional Stories as Sen Binos Treats Over 12,000 in Demsa Free Medical Outreach

In a heartfelt display of compassion and service, Senator (Rev) Binos Dauda Yaroe has once again touched lives through his free mega medical outreach in Demsa Local Government Area, where over 12,000 patients received life-changing treatment at no cost.

The four-day programme, held at Demsa Cottage Hospital, brought relief to thousands facing severe health challenges amid rising medical expenses.

Many beneficiaries shared touching testimonies of long-suffered ailments and financial despair, highlighting how the senator’s initiative provided what would have cost them hundreds of thousands—or even millions—of naira in conventional hospitals.

Malam Bello Buba Mohammed, who endured a painful tumour for over 25 years, described his journey as one of repeated disappointment.

After visiting more than 10 hospitals and being quoted no less than N700,000 each time sums he could not afford he had resigned himself to a hopeless existence at home.

‎”My son came and told me that Senator Binos is conducting a free medical outreach at Demsa Cottage Hospital, and we should be there,” he recounted.

“Reluctantly, I agreed for them to carry me here. After some medical checkups, I was operated upon. It was a successful surgery. It was done free of charge. Nobody asked me of my religion or tribe. Now I am feeling better, and by evening time, I will be taken home. I want to use this opportunity to sincerely thank Senator Binos for this lifetime turnaround in my life. May God grant him the desires of his heart.”

‎Ms Naomi Samuel shared a similar story of near-despair. Faced with a bill of nearly N500,000 for treatment she could not afford, she had almost given up hope.

“I almost lost hope, because I did not have five hundred thousand naira to pay for my medical services at the various hospitals we went,” she said from her sickbed.

“But as God would have it, He sent His servant to rescue me from this strange ailment. For Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe, I cannot thank him enough for this lifetime turnaround in my life. I will always be grateful to him for treating me free of charge. I pray God Almighty to bless him, and grant him the desires of his heart.”

‎Other beneficiaries, including Rev. Yunana Kwantintang and Ms. Hauwa Aminu, echoed the sentiment, calling the senator their “saviour” for stepping in where others could not.

‎Speaking to journalists after inspecting the outreach, Senator Binos expressed deep gratitude to God for the success of the programme. He reaffirmed his long-standing commitment to prioritising healthcare as a fundamental need.

‎”I was here since last December and January, and I know what I passed through. There is nothing one can do in life without being healthy,” he said. “I take health as my topmost priority because I value the health and wellness of my people.”

‎He thanked the dedicated medical team for their sacrifices and urged constituents to prioritise their health to contribute meaningfully to societal development.

‎Prof. Michael Misauno, the Lead Medical Consultant, revealed that while the target was 15,000 patients, the team successfully attended to over 12,000 during the four days. Equipped with modern facilities, quality drugs, and a full complement of personnel, they treated all who presented, performing numerous surgeries.

‎”We only had four complicated cases that we did not treat,” Prof. Misauno explained. “We are here to help people, not to add to people’s problems. And as usual, Senator Binos has graciously agreed that we should refer them to the teaching hospital. He will foot their medical bills.”

‎The outreach stands out for its high-quality care, reinforcing Senator Binos’ reputation for consistent, impactful interventions in Adamawa South Senatorial District. As one of Nigeria’s dedicated public servants, he continues to demonstrate that leadership means putting people’s welfare first.
