Senator Binos Backs Urgent Motion on Taraba North Insecurity at Senate Plenary

In a compelling address during the Senate plenary session on May 28, 2025, Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe lent his voice to the urgent motion presented by Senator Shuaibu Isa Lau concerning the escalating insecurity in Taraba North. The motion highlighted the tragic events in Munga Lelau and Maigami villages, where violent clashes between farmers and herders resulted in significant loss of life and property.

Senator Yaroe emphasized the need for immediate and coordinated action to restore peace and security in the affected regions. He called upon security agencies to enhance surveillance and establish additional security posts along the borders of Taraba, Plateau, and Bauchi states.
