Senator Binos Yaroe distributes over 1000 bags of assorted fertilizer to constituents

The Senator representing Adamawa Southern Zone, Sen. Binos Dauda Yaroe has embarked on the third phase of the distribution of bags of fertilizer to rural farmers across the nine (9) LGAs of the Constituency.

Each of the LGA got 128 bags of fertilizer for onward distribution to local farmers across rural communities. No fewer than 1,152 bags of fertilizer were distributed in this third phase which would be utilised by the farmers as the rainy season progresses.

Addressing journalists at the flagging-off event, Senator Binos Yaroe, said that he would continue to reach out to his constituents with farm implements and other palliatives to cushion the effect of the current high cost of living in the country.

Represented by Mr Katawan Boniface, the People’s Senator disclosed that the 1,152 bags of fertilizer were distributed with each of the 9 LGAs getting no fewer than 128 bags for the benefit of the rural hoe-masters.

According to Senator Binos, it became imperative for him to come out with measures on how to put smiles on the faces of his constituents, adding that the fertilizer distribution was just the tip of the iceberg of the greater goodies to come for the Adamawa South people.

The Senator said that though not all the masses would get the fertilizer due to limited bags, he would not relent in ensuring his constituents taste the sweet fruits of the dividends of democracy.

He pointed out that there have been effective structures already on the ground that are workable right from the Ward level to ensuring the targeted rural farmers benefit, adding that stakeholders and community leaders were engaged in the distribution process.

Senator Binos pointed out that peasant farmers across all political parties were selected to benefit from the distribution, adding that the beneficiaries of the two previous exercises would not benefit this time to pave the way for other farmers to benefit as well.

While calling on the intended beneficiaries to utilize the product for the purpose intended, Senator Binos assured them of good governance and representation in the red chamber.
