1,000 indigen patients treated as Sen. Binos Yaroe takes medical outreach to Bare community in Numan LGA

No fewer than 1,000 indigent patients were treated for various ailments during a one-day medical outreach sponsored by the senator representing Adamawa South senatorial zone, Sen Binos Dauda Yeroe at Bare town, Numan LG.

The senator who made medical outreach one of his priority areas in order to provide his constituents with good health had since his election as senator in 2019 treated thousands of indigent patients across the nine local governments that constitute his senatorial zone.

According to the team lead of medical experts conducting the outreach, Jama Medan, Saturday’s exercise was highly successful as patients received various medical interventions.

He noted that during the exercise, a number of surgeries, ophthalmology, laboratory tests, USS scans, ECGs, and other myriads of medical services were administered to the patients for free.

Medan while addressing the patients noted that the senator deemed it fit to conduct such exercises in order to thank the constituents for their unwavering support during the election noting that the senator will continue to support the constituents in many more ways.

He added that since his election, the senator has conducted a number of medical outreaches across the senatorial zone which usually cover five days per outreach culminating in the treatment of thousands of indigent patients adding that in order to mop up those who did not benefit from the exercise, the senator decided to be conducting the one day outreach across the senatorial zone.

The team lead added that the team is taking advantage of the mobile clinic that the senator provided to conduct surgeries and other critical interventions during the mop-up exercises adding that personnel who are conducting the exercise were drawn from major medical facilities including Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital.

Also thanking the senator, a PDP women leader in Bare, Rita Yusuf appreciated Sen Yaroe for fulfilling his electoral promises. She noted that the gesture has made her proud to be part of his campaign as the senator did not disappoint her.

Also speaking, an APC chieftain in the area and former vice chairman of Numan Local government Mr. Nyada Geoffery also extolled the senator for carrying out such life-changing activities without recourse to political affiliation.

He noted that the exercise would go a long way in providing succor to indigent patients who do not have the wherewithal to pay huge medical bills urging the senator to maintain the tempo.

Another hypertensive patient, Ulga Janeth thanked the senator for the free medication adding that she has not been taking drugs because of the high cost of medication noting that the intervention is a huge relief for her.

She prayed to God to continue to give the senator good health, wisdom, and longevity to sustain the humanitarian intervention for indigent people like her.
