SEN YAROE GETS A THUMBS-UP FOR MEDICAL OUTREACH
The Nigeria Assembly Orientation and Awards Committee has nominated Distinguished Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe for an award as the BEST IN MEDICAL OUTREACH.
The Award is primarily designed to lead a new phenomenon in the assessment and recognition of the Nigerian National Parliament, and its allies who are providing complimentary achievements to the legislative arm of government in the country.
According to organizers of the Award, Senator Binos Yaroe was considered for the Award, after a careful assessment of the lawmaker’s Corporate Social Responsibility, Good Service to Humanity, and grassroots penetration especially in the area of his consistent medical/healthcare delivery to his constituents, using his pet project “FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH” instituted since 2019 to date.
Ahead of the formal presentation of the Award tagged ‘ BEST IN MEDICAL OUTREACH ‘ billed for July 7th, 2022 at Merit House, Maitama- Abuja, the Nomination Committee for the 6th Edition of The Nigeria Assembly Orientation Awards 2022 on Monday, honored Senator Yaroe with an introductory presentation before the D- day.
In response, Distinguished Senator Binos Yaroe representing Adamawa Southern Senatorial District in the National Assembly thanked the organizers of the Award for taking a keen interest in one of the important projects he set out to pursue for the benefit of his constituents.
He explained that ” I’m fulfilled going by the impacts of the outreaches I have already made on the lives of the people of my constituency”.
According to him, “It was given the need to reach out more effectively to the people, especially those in the rural communities, that I decided to launch a ‘ Mobile Hospital’ to complement existing efforts by moving to remote areas to treat those requiring emergencies as well as those who are not strong enough to travel long distances for treatment, that informed this idea of the new alternative” Senator Yaroe affirms.
It could be recalled, that the lawmaker in August 2019, flagged off his ‘Free Medical Outreach’ aimed to add value to the health care delivery of his people across the 9 LGAs, encompassing the largest Senatorial District in Adamawa State.
So far in the last 3 years, free medical outreaches have been staged in each of the local government areas, whereby no fewer than over 80, 000 people have benefited from different medical and health treatments and interventions in the entire Senatorial District, and some neighboring states in the North East Geo- political zone of Nigeria.
