Senator Binos D.Yaroe facilitates the Business Empowerment Scheme for Constituents

In a bid to alleviate poverty and promote self-reliance, Senator Binos D.Yaroe, the lawmaker representing Adamawa South senatorial district, on Thursday, successfully facilitated the National Business Development Empowerment Skill Initiative (NBDSI) for his constituents.

The program, which was hosted by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) in its Adamawa office, empowered artisans with the necessary equipment needed to become self-sufficient while contributing to productivity in the overall economy.

the program was aimed at alleviating poverty and creating job opportunities, it is also a great economic tool to make constituents self-reliant.

The beneficiaries were cut across the 9 local government areas of Adamawa South and were trained in various skills, which include tailoring, catering, and laundering.
