Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe of the Adamawa Southern Senatorial district has supported 300 members of his constituency with farming inputs worth millions of Naira in Adamawa state.
Making the presentation to the beneficiaries in Mayo Belwa local government area Monday, Senator Yaroe announced that the beneficiaries were drawn from the 93 political wards out of the nine(9) local government councils in his district.
Senator Yaroe said that the federal government through its agency, the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, NSPRI.In conjunction with Rockland Synergy Limited under the Senate constituency project titled LOT B8 procured the farming inputs for onward distribution to farmers in the country.
Yaroe explained that each ward received 25 bags of 50 kg NPK 20-10-10 fertilizer and herbicides with cash support of N20,000 to the 300 beneficiaries respectively.
He enjoined the beneficiaries to ensure judicious and timely use of the items with a view to growing enough crops to curtail the food insecurity been experiencing these days.
He maintained that more interventions are under way to improve their farming yields in due course noting that all hands must be on deck to fight hunger out of the country.
In his speech, an official of the Rockland Synergy Limited, Yunusa Muhammad Yakamata commended Senator Yaroe for always having his constituents at heart.
Yakamata the fertilizer was shared with 1,250 farmers with two big bottles of herbicide in addition to the N20,000 cash urging the farmers to reciprocate the gesture by farming in large quantity and quality.
Responding after collecting their packages, Mrs. Violet Benedict Dogo and Ibrahim Hamadu Jada applauded the interventions saying that Senator Yaroe has always been there for them promising to vote for him more in whatever capacity he desires in the political arena
