DISTRIBUTE TERTIARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS EQUITABLY: SEN YAROE COUNSELS.

The Senator representing Adamawa South in the red chamber of the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Binos Yaroe, has implored the Federal government, and the leadership of the Senate, to always consider ‘equity and fairness’ in the distribution of tertiary education institutions across all the senatorial zones in the country.

Senator Yaroe made this remark during Wednesday’s plenary when he lent his voice in support of his colleague, Distinguished Senator Elisha Cliff Abbo, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, who moved a motion against an alleged attempt to divert the establishment of a Federal University of Agriculture, earlier approved to be sited in Mubi, to a different senatorial zone in the state.

Senator Yaroe further explained, that a situation whereby all Federal tertiary educational institutions in Adamawa state are sited only in the Northern and Central Senatorial Districts, leaving out the Southern zone.
