Following deliberations of the committee of the whole Senate, which looked at the merits of establishing the Federal University of Education, Numan sponsored by Distinguished Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe, the upper legislative chamber on Thursday unanimously gave its nod for passage of the bill for an Act of Parliament.

The President of the Senate, Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio formally gave this verdict, after a voice vote supported by the majority of senators present at Thursday’s plenary.
